We live outside the city, in our own, detached house. There is gas in the house and its main consumer is heating. Increased gas tariffs put significant pressure on our family budget, but the timely additional external thermal insulation made it possible to reduce gas consumption by almost half. Previously, gas was still consumed by a gas stove, but now we have installed an economical electric induction hob, and instead of a gas oven, now my wife is busy with such a roaster oven. Due to the fact that electric heaters are located both at the top and at the bottom, the oven chamber warms up quickly. High uniformity of heating is also achieved due to this arrangement of heaters, but mainly due to the convection fan, which is located on the side wall. It effectively mixes hot air, which means that the products from it heat up very evenly. There are five cooking modes in total, that is, ways to combine the inclusion of upper and lower heating elements with convection. The temperature is maintained by a thermostat, designed for temperatures from 40 to 270 degrees. It has good thermal insulation and reliable door seals. This is important for both safety and energy efficiency. It stands securely, the legs are strong and stable. The set includes a grill and two baking sheets - rectangular and round. As a result, we can say that this oven bakes and bakes perfectly. In fact, this is a complete replacement for an expensive built-in oven. Despite the thermal insulation, the back side gets very hot. This is due to the fact that hot air is expelled from the oven chamber through it. This feature must be taken into account during installation. The temperature control knob gets hot as well. You can’t get burned about it (unless you try very hard), but it’s still unpleasant. |
