Service Center!!!!! Shame!!!! The bulb broke while the device was still under warranty. We brought it to the service center, where we were informed that the warranty for the headset is much shorter than for the blood pressure monitor, but, nevertheless, we were "lucky," and it hadn't expired yet. They sent it for examination, said it would take a month, but it was returned almost two months later with a conclusion that it couldn't be repaired. They suggested buying a new one, as the bulb is not sold separately and would require purchasing with hoses, costing around two hundred hryvnias for the set. The blood pressure monitor belongs to a grandmother-pensioner. Where is she supposed to get an extra 200 hryvnias from?! We went to a medical equipment store and bought a regular bulb for 13 hryvnias, and there, for an additional 15 hryvnias, they replaced the valve. Worked relatively well. Not a very accurate measurement, but the error is small. ![]() |
For a long time I measured the pressure with a mechanical tonometer and did not trust the electronic one. But my doctor still convinced me and advised me to take a closer look at Omron models. I chose this one, I have been using it for six months now and I understand that it was worth making this purchase much earlier. In order to correctly measure the pressure with a mechanical device, two people are needed, i.e. I need my wife to be at home. What if she's at work? No, well, you can, of course, be perverted and, pushing the head of the phonendoscope under a low-dressed cuff, try to measure yourself, but this is really wildly inconvenient and the accuracy of such measurements, to put it mildly, is doubtful. And with this automatic blood pressure monitor, you do everything yourself and the result is quite accurate. Using it is convenient and simple. I put on the cuff, started the device and sit quietly, wait for the value on the screen. And if you don’t sit quietly, then he will also warn you with a badge so that you don’t twitch, and he will reject the dubious result and force you to measure again. In addition to pressure, it measures the pulse, can determine the arrhythmia and even assess whether the arrhythmia has affected the correctness of the result. I would call it a smart tonometer. Lightweight, with a large, easy-to-read screen and large numbers. Separately, I note a very comfortable cuff. It is not rectangular, as usual, but has a slightly fan-shaped shape. This was done in order to improve the uniformity of pressing against the shoulder due to a tighter fit. After all, the shoulder has a taper and in its upper part the volume is usually larger than in the lower. I received the kit without batteries. Either they pulled it out in the warehouse, or they forgot to put it in the packaging. A trifle, but unpleasant. |
