Before this purchase, I had never used a steamer. The first thing that struck me was the very sturdy construction of the device and how easy it was to assemble. In less than 10 minutes, it was set up. It stays "always ready" in the spare room. You don't have to wait for the water to heat up and start producing steam; it happens quickly. I use the steamer on suits, jackets, down coats, bed linens, plush toys, dresses, and shirts. The effect after steaming is similar to clothes returned from dry cleaning. Creases disappear, and the fabric looks and feels like new. The wide steam head allows for steaming large areas at once. The 1.6-liter water tank is quite large, enough for 4-5 sessions. The steamer doesn't replace an iron but complements it and saves a lot of time. The device has a simple design and is easy to assemble. It takes about 10 minutes. Water heats up and produces steam in a few minutes. It steams suits, jackets, down coats, bedding, stuffed toys, dresses, and shirts.
