Decided to gift my mom an e-reader. We chose the PocketBook brand. It's a top brand on the market and very popular among users. So we didn't think long. We picked one of the latest models. After a couple of months of active use, I want to share my impressions. The e-reader is very fast, nothing lags, and it supports many formats. It's comfortable to hold with one or two hands. The screen is large (7.8 inches), making reading a pleasure, and the eyes don't tire even after prolonged reading. The battery lasts a long time; with several hours of reading a day, it lasts almost a month. The book's backlight is advanced, with adjustable color temperature. You can set it automatically or manually, or turn it off altogether. The light can be not only white but also yellow and orange. You can choose the light that is more comfortable for the eyes. There's even a sensor capable of automatically reorienting the image on the screen depending on the position of the e-reader. The text can display in both vertical and horizontal modes. It has a waterproof feature. Thankfully, I haven't had to test it yet. But for those with children, this feature is very necessary. Overall, the e-reader is excellent.
