I've been using the Nitro+ 8Gb (stock frequency 1411 MHz) for a couple of years. I bought it for around 9k. For that price, the card is decent. It's well made. But it's not without flaws. For some reason, the factory cooling is set for quiet operation, but the card runs hot and consequently heats up to the limit -> the fans rev up fully -> the temperature drops and the fans slow down excessively, until the temperature rises again. And so on in a loop. The periodic revving annoyed me so much that I flashed the card's BIOS with a reduced temp. limit to 78 degrees and slightly increased the fan speed. Now the card is a bit noisier on average, but without overheating and fan revving. To avoid hassle, it's better to get a card with three fans and in a well-ventilated case. But even so, software issues remain... There are minor bugs, for instance with freesync, which causes more problems than it's worth. There can be screen tearing in video players or YouTube when watching in full screen. This problem appeared recently. As I understand, the issue is with the card's drivers. For now, it was resolved by disabling freesync. Overall, I currently do not recommend this model for regular users. Only if you know what you're doing. -Price at the time of purchase -Decent performance -8 GB of memory -Gets very hot. I expected this, but even with a slight undervolt, in a moderately ventilated case, the card is quite noisy. -To fully utilize the card, you need to tinker with the settings, and might even have to tweak the BIOS. Great video card!! For that kind of money there are simply no analogues with 8GB of memory on the market. This model has excellent overclocking potential (I overclocked the core to 1450 MHz and the memory to 2250).
