For games it will be even better than the built-in codec in your PC, for music it's a horror.

I collected it for a long time, though I didn’t have to rejoice for long, for a start I was surprised by the very modest parameters of the 24bit / 96kG DAC and 16bit / 16kG ADC, well, I think Sennheiser everything should be super. As it turned out, all that is good in them is the virtual 7.1 mode and a bunch of small functions. The sound in the headphones is very mediocre, it's still not bad for games due to proprietary technologies, but listening to music .... Alas, the sound from the microphone is even an order of magnitude worse. (even with the built-in codec in my laptop, everything is much better). Everything was heard on sennheiser game one and AKG k702.
I decided to see what was inside and was very surprised to see a cheap CX20745 codec and a decoder and part-time effects processor CX20833 in such an expensive device. Very upset with this purchase.

Poor sound quality both on headphones and on a microphone due to very cheap components. Codecs for a dollar in a device for 150-200 is too much.
