The model differs from its counterparts in the series by the absence of a Wi-Fi module on board, respectively, all the cares for setting the shooting parameters are shouldered by mechanical keys and a 2-inch screen on the rear panel with a resolution of 960x240 pixels. The SJCAM SJ5000 lens looks out at the world with a 170° field of view, capturing virtually everything ahead of the camcorder. Out of the box, the action camera is equipped with a rich arsenal of accessories: mounts, straps and clips for almost all occasions. An integral attribute of the device is...a shock-resistant underwater box, which reliably protects the internal “hardware” of the camera when diving to a depth of up to 30 m. GoPro or cool action cameras from Sony are, of course, good to argue with this fact. But the money that they ask for, not everyone can pay. For me personally, the necessary for the purchase of a cool camera is 9-11 thousand UAH. collect is simply unrealistic. Thanks to the Chinese brothers who help out all lovers of low-cost action filming. The price of a complete set is one hundred dollars, which is very cool. Firstly, the kit here is quite decent - in addition to the camera itself, I received a waterproof box (with a cover so that you can record sound on land), a rich set of mounts (on a flat surface, on a bicycle, on a helmet), a strap and a USB cable for connection to a computer. The camera can shoot video with a resolution of 1920x1080 at 30 fps, 1280x720 at 60 fps and take photos with a maximum resolution of 4250x3260. The viewing angle is about 170 degrees, the video quality is average, it does not reach the GoPro or Sony action cameras, but it looks cheerful, it does not crumble much into squares. In the asset you can also write down the small size and weight of 74 grams. The built-in battery with a capacity of 900 mAh is enough for about an hour of shooting at maximum quality. You can view the footage on a small two-inch screen or connect an external large screen via the HMDI interface. There is a one year warranty. Color quality is not the highest, white balance is sometimes frankly unsuccessful. There is also some firmware instability. And I must admit that I tried three different versions and in all cases I had my own, some unique glitches. The sound in the best case is of average quality, but more often you get a walking volume |
Very satisfied with the purchase; I previously tried more budget options, and they were worthless. This model is great in every way, except for the microphone. I hope to "fix" this shortcoming by installing a more powerful microphone, the WM-61A, which I ordered on Ali Express. It works wonderfully in all modes—day/night/dusk/underwater.
