I was choosing a sled for a 2-year-old girl. I opted for the Stiga Cruiser and did not make a mistake. The model has a solid monolithic construction, which makes it durable and suitable not only for pulling the child by the rope but also for sliding down hills—bumps, dips, and humps are overcome without cracking or damage. Once I even accidentally stepped on the rear end—they survived, and that's a 70 kg load. The lower part (the runners, so to speak) is not smooth, which prevents developing high speed—definitely a good thing for a 2-year-old child. The seat is wide enough to allow using the sled for several years. However, the seat belt seems a bit short. You can still strap the child in without tightening their snowsuit, but in a year, it will likely be impossible. I was also pleased with the low seating position—my girl can easily sit in them by herself and shout "Ride." However, such low seating leads to quick cooling. As a result, the child themselves gets up after half an hour and wants to run. Either to warm up or they just got tired of riding. Overall, the sled brings pure joy to both the child and the parents. Pulling 15 kg (considering the weight of the child and the sled) is not a problem even for mom—the sled doesn't sink in the snow and, thanks to the wide "track," can go through any snow. The only issue might be narrow trodden paths, which will be harder to navigate due to the considerable width. However, this adds to the stability. And even when the child tries to climb out by themselves, the sled won't tip over. Dense plastic, comfortable for slides and for riding by the cord, the child can climb himself, stable Short seat belt ![]() |
