Dome AHD video camera Tecsar AHDD-2M-20F-out not only has a resolution of 2 megapixels and provides Full HD image quality, it is equipped with a large high-quality matrix Sony IMX322 CMOS Sensor size 1/2.9”. The use of this matrix allows the model to be successfully applied in the most demanding analogue high-definition video surveillance systems. Even in poor or weak daylight conditions, the image is clear and contrasting, and this is the merit of the Sony sensor used - the camera automatically flexibly adjusts its sensitivity to the actual light level. And thanks to the presence of infrared illumination, video recording can be carried out even in complete darkness. The illumination range is traditional for this type of cameras 20 m.
This model is capable of transmitting an HD 720p signal over a coaxial cable up to 500 metres long, however, when using Full HD 1080p resolution, it is recommended to limit the cable length to 300 metres for reliable operation.
The tightness of the camera corresponds to the IP66 class, and the metal case of the device is durable and vandal-proof. The case was originally designed for outdoor use, so the device easily withstands high humidity and low temperatures in winters.
In terms of functionality, it's great. Automatic gamma correction accurately calculates the brightness of the image, while 3DNR 3D noise reduction eliminates noise that occurs in poor lighting conditions. The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function makes it possible to use an extended dynamic range for the image, which allows better reproduction of details in the penumbra and bright areas of the frame. When the lens is forced to capture both bright and dark areas at the same time, the camera periodically automatically changes the exposure, trying to cover the maximum gradations of brightness and colour. As a result, very bright objects become darker and are better distinguished, while dark objects become brighter and do not get lost in the penumbra due to the lack of image contrast. Thanks to a high-quality sensor and WDR mode, the Tecsar AHDD-2M-20F-out video camera will be an excellent option for building high-quality indoor and outdoor video surveillance systems.
