S-Logic™ Plus System
All Ultrasone headphones use the S-Logic™ Natural Surround Sound system. Headphones from other manufacturers direct sound directly into the auditory canal of the inner ear, so the music seems to be "blocked" outside the headphones and sounds inside the head. On the contrary, the S-Logic™ system uses a special decentralized driver placement and first directs the sound to the outer ear, where it is naturally re-reflected before entering the auditory canal - just as it happens in normal sound perception. That is why the listener experiences a three-dimensional sound image with distances and directions. The sound is no longer blocked by the headphones - it surrounds, seems wide and separate.
The HFI-580 uses an advanced version of this technology, S-Logic™ plus. Improvements include a special acoustic design of the ear cups and frequency "tuning" of the structure, as well as special acoustic matching of the driver and the buffer plate located behind it, which filters electromagnetic radiation. All this achieves an even more natural spatial sound experience with optimized spatial positioning of the voice and instruments.
ULE radiation protection standard
All headphone drivers emit electromagnetic fields at levels up to 4 times the recommended level and therefore may be harmful to health. But only Ultrasone headphones protect the listener from these radiations. The patented MU Metal Shielding system in the HFI-580 reduces their level by 98% (ULE - Ultra Low Emission standard).
Less hearing strain
The S-Logic™ system not only creates a spatial sound image, but also provides the same subjective volume level with 40% less sound pressure on the ear membrane than conventional headphones. Therefore, the load on hearing and the risk of its impairment are reduced, and long-term comfortable listening to phonograms is ensured.
