The American brand Washburn has been known for over 100 years. The company is especially famous for its western guitars, but it also has quite decent electric models in the middle price segment. The V200PRO is the famous "arrow" that will appeal to guitarists who play heavy styles.

The legendary arrow

The stylish design of the Flying V body is emphasized by the same headstock shape, only turned in the opposite direction. The fittings, made in blued colour, favorably emphasize the rigor and aggressiveness of the instrument. The guitar would certainly look great in burgundy or red with chrome hardware, but, unfortunately, there is only one colour scheme.

Everything for a juicy sound

Mahogany body and two active humbuckers EMG81 and EMG85 are responsible for dense and deep sounding. Yes Yes! You heard right. For $400, Washburn was not greedy and put “hedgehogs” here, which pile up very well. Add here Grover's closed tuning pegs, which hold the system well even in the drop, a fixed bridge with through-string fastening, and we get an instrument that can pump rhythm parts in heavy styles very well. For a solo, this arrangement is not very suitable, although, as you know, nothing is impossible for a good musician.

The Washburn V200PRO is a solid midrange that can be squeezed out of a good juicy and meaty sound. An excellent option for a collection for those who have long dreamed of an "arrow".
