Autumn came, the cold came with it, and the old one and a half kilowatt fan heater, which saved me and my colleague in our work room, died as expected. There was a question about replacing it. I work for a government organization with fairly strict fire safety regulations, so the new heater had to be reliable, non-flammable, and mobile. Regular visits by regulatory organizations do not allow you to relax and extraneous devices, including heating ones, are not welcome. We chose this not at all cheap electric convector and were not mistaken, it costs its money. Compact and powerful. The width is about 80 cm, the height is 40 cm, and its thickness is less than ten centimeters. They made a removable wall mount for it, and it does not protrude much from the wall. The wall is bare, without shelves and furniture, the cable was lowered down and led to a powerful stationary outlet. Of course, carefully attached it to the wall and baseboard throughout its entire length. A foil reflective screen was made under the convector itself. From the point of view of fire safety, everything turned out flawlessly, the device is certified and the use of its administrative premises is officially allowed. And yes, it is really well made. Two thousand watts of power heats up a room fairly quickly. After the room warms up, we simply switch the convector to a reduced power mode (1 kW) and you can forget about it until you leave work. A properly set thermostat ensures stable dry heat. High cost compared to competitors. There are no light indicators of operation, which is why you can easily forget it when it is on. |
