At work, at the university, in our group, the Samsung laser printer finally broke down. I write about this with relief, because he already just got everyone. It was still necessary to look for such a capricious printer to feed paper, well, there were also problems with drivers for fresh operating systems. In general, this device was bought for him not a replacement. I will say right away, it's just heaven and earth, or rather in the reverse order. HP, as usual, is at its best and, although we all know that Canon makes laser printers and MFPs for HP, this in no way detracts from the merits of HP engineers. The tasks for this device were as follows: printing large documents (reports of 250-300 pages are not uncommon), printing over a network (that is, using this printer as a network printer), copying black and white documents and scanning experimental samples in color (foil, plates ). As for printing, everything is excellent here (how not to overpraise!). A 200-page document prints in one session in less than 10 minutes. For comparison, the previous printer needed more than 25 for this. I connected to a standard Ethernet network in a couple of minutes, and the rest of the settings took no more than half an hour. Now any computer in the workgroup can directly send documents for printing. Sometimes there are collisions, not without it, but this is more a matter of employee discipline. Copies quickly and sometimes the scanner's autofeed helps a lot. Samples in color scan well, but you need to remember that his depth of field is weak, so embossed surfaces are not for him. The starter cartridge was very small. The HP 83A bought to replace it with a capacity of 1500 pages also turned out to be too small, and only the thoughtfully chosen second original HP 83X cartridge with a capacity of 2200 more or less satisfied. So another 4,000 hryvnias were spent on cartridges. It's good that at least they are inexpensive to refill. |
