A glass electric kettle with bright LED backlighting, introduced to the market by the Magio brand in 2022 and positioned by the manufacturer in the mid-price range. A multi-color LED strip is mounted along the contour of the heating disk. The hue of the glow changes following changes in the heating temperature of the water. There are 5 backlight options: green, blue, yellow, purple and red.

A flask made of durable borosilicate glass improves the taste of water. The glass electric kettle Magio MG-498 is equipped with a flat heating element. The heater has standard performance. Water boils quite quickly, since the 1800 W heat element has uniform heating over the entire area of the disk. It is easy to determine the current water heating temperature by the color of the LED indicator. Green color corresponds to heating 0-49 °C. Blue color corresponds to the temperature range 50-59 °C. Yellow turns on when heated to 60-69 °C. Heating to 70-79 °C activates the purple backlight. The red glow turns on when the water heats from 80 to 100 °C. Replaceable LED lighting greatly increases the decorative value of the electric kettle.
