Made in Ukraine: east european brands

The vast majority of Ukrainian brands belong to the food market. In this matter, the country really has something to be proud of. Unfortunately, we do not have many manufacturers of electronics and other high-tech products. Yes, and those that are, are often limited solely to promoting the brand, when the products themselves are ordered from Chinese OEM assemblers. Some of them prefer to hide their Ukrainian origin by wearing the mask of an "international manufacturer".

However, lately there has been a good tendency not to hide, but to emphasize belonging to Ukraine. It is quite possible that in a few years all Ukrainian brands will do this.

Electronics manufacturers

Companies such as Impression and Globex. The first specializes mainly in computer technology: desktops, laptops, servers, NAS. However, recently the range of products has begun to expand in the direction of mobile technology, appeared tablets, smartphones and Impression e-readers.

As for Globex, this company is better known as a manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, as well as car electronics: video recorders, reversing cameras etc.

The products of these two companies belong to the entry-level and mid-price range. Its quality is average, according to the reviews of specialized publications, but in fact a lot depends on the specific model.

If the article had been written several years ago, then the manufacturer of e-book readers should have been included among Ukrainian brands Pocket Book. He dominated not only the domestic market of "readers", but was also among the leaders in Russia and Belarus. However, in 2013, the founders of the company chose to sell it to a certain private investor. However, most consumers continue to associate Pocket Book with Ukraine.

Well, if we talk about equipment that is not of interest to ordinary buyers, then Entry deserves special attention. It specializes in high and medium performance servers, as well as various server hardware. Another area of activity of Entry is solutions for video surveillance systems.

Electrical engineering and tools

On the Ukrainian market, the products of the company Logic Fox from Odessa. The main activity is stabilization equipment and uninterruptible power supplies, manufactured under the brand Logic Power . Also, under this brand, computer power supplies are produced. As for the Logic Fox brand, a wide range of the most diverse products related to computer technology is produced under it. These are tablets, keyboards, mice, webcams, laptop bags , card readers and much more.

They are also engaged in the production of construction tools in Ukraine. The products of Dnepr-instrument LLC, known simply as Dnepr, are quite popular. These are welding machines, cement mixers, lawn mowers, spray guns, drills and screwdrivers< /a>.

Proton also offers a fairly wide range of tools. These are generators, car washes, Punchers and more. In the case of both brands, the quality of products is quite high and meets modern standards, even if inferior to Western models.

Perhaps The most famous Ukrainian brand of home appliances is Pyramida. The company is best known for its hoods, which offer a wide range of mid-range products. Mostly for a fairly good ratio of cost, quality and features.

Among the manufacturers of small household appliances, we recall such brands as Mirta and Aurora. The range of products produced in both cases is very wide. These are electric kettles, mixers, slow cookers, toasters and another similar kitchen trifle. The prices for these products are low, the popularity is quite high.

Despite the fact that bicycles are not as popular in Ukraine as in some European countries, the number of Ukrainian bicycles there are quite a few brands. Moreover, under all of them, good products are produced with a good ratio of cost and quality. You can highlight brands such as "Dorozhnik", Formula, Pride and Comanche. Under them, a wide range of products is produced, there are models for sports driving, and there are models for leisurely walks. Children's models are not forgotten either. Most of the reviews about this product are quite positive.

Also, speaking of brands related to sports and tourism, we should also mention Terra Incognita< /a>. This company specializes in various travel supplies: tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, mats, thermal underwear, etc. The price range in this case is average.

Unfortunately, the format of the article is simply not allows you to list at least a tenth of Ukrainian manufacturers, well-known and not so well-known. Therefore, finally, we list some of them that did not fall into the above groups. All of these are affordable yet high quality products that are popular.

Thus, under the brand name Paladii LLC Trade House EXPRESS LOK produces a narrow range of products — towel warmers of various designs made of stainless steel. They are distinguished by attractive design and high quality.

As for the brand Kharkov, these electric shavers have been well known since the days of the USSR, when they were produced by the Echo plant. Today, the rights to the brand belong to the Electrorazor-Kharkov company, which also produces razors under the Breetex brand. Of course, all these products are inferior in quality and capabilities to Philips shavers, but their cost is noticeably lower.

Among the popular Ukrainian brands also worth mentioning are Bagllet and Derby. In both cases, we are talking about various bags, backpacks and suitcases. The quality of the products is high, manufacturers pay much attention to the breadth of the range. To the credit of both manufacturers, it should be noted that they have never hidden their Ukrainian origin.

The Trans Baby brand is baby carriages. A variety of models are produced, often differing in a very attractive appearance. As for the quality, user reviews are quite contradictory, while some were quite satisfied, others name unpleasant shortcomings.

Tyres Rosava produced by CJSC Rosava, which is considered the largest tyre manufacturer in Ukraine. This is a good example of an exclusively Ukrainian brand, whose products are also supplied to other countries. Produced tyre models belong to the inexpensive segment. For their price range, they are of good quality. The manufacturer produces products not only for cars, but also for trucks, as well as agricultural and special equipment. There are about 150 standard sizes in total.

I would like to believe that over time the number of Ukrainian brands producing high-quality products will only increase. And that they will be well known not only at home, but also abroad.
