Choosing and buying a baby stroller was quite an exciting event for me. However, my husband was the one who actually bought it, but we both discussed and chose it together, spending a lot of time on it. We wanted to get the best, yet prices are such that we had to temper our appetites, and we settled for this quality convertible stroller. The price wasn't small, but once we received it and started using it, it became clear that the money was well spent. Included in the set, besides the bassinet and the stroller seat, are a footmuff, a polymer film cover for rain protection, a mosquito net, a bag for baby essentials, and a hanging shopping basket. In other words, the set has everything you need for walks in any weather. The bassinet is fabric, but on a sturdy frame and with a solid plastic bottom. Its size is not record-breaking, but not small either. It was enough for us, even though we switched to the stroller seat not very early. The stroller seat is also quite wide and comfortable. The backrest can be adjusted in three positions, and the footrest can be raised and lowered. Five-point safety harnesses are of course included, with an additional set of slots for attaching them, which will be needed as we grow. The wide rear wheels prevent the stroller from fitting into the standard elevator cabin of a nine-story building, but that’s not very important for us since we live in a private house. However, visiting the parents was inconvenient. The small front wheels allow the stroller to turn easily even with one hand, but they also create a bumpy ride on uneven sidewalks, poor roads, and even paving stones. The rear wheels handle softening this bumpiness significantly better than the front ones. Also, small wheels always make it harder to get out of those same potholes, requiring much more effort. Additionally, the wheels, unfortunately, are not inflatable as they may seem at first glance, so don’t expect good cushioning from them. |
