Great model for the money! A thin book, a light, powerful battery (lasts almost a month with daily use), absolutely no eye fatigue, although I read almost all day long. Sometimes it jumps several pages. Perhaps that's all of the shortcomings. Well, sometimes there is not enough clock somewhere in the corner of the screen. ![]() |
easy to use, lightweight on its own, fits easily into a purse and doesn't take up much space, so you can take it anywhere. No defects) check the book's localization right away. Other than that, there are no problems. Even without full localization, you can manage with minimal knowledge of English. ![]() |
A simple and convenient book, nothing extra and for modest money, why buy a book with a bunch of bells and whistles if you can get essentially the same thing for less money. The disadvantages that are easily removed in it and over time you simply don’t notice them, but only the advantages and pleasure of reading books. By the way, whoever looks at more expensive models, believe me, they have better functionality, but essentially you will only read, and all the bells and whistles will only slow down your device and drain the battery. everything superfluous is absent from it, it is just a simple read without any bells and whistles. The build quality is superb, all the buttons on the bottom and sides are comfortable, nothing creaks, all the buttons are positioned as they should and are in user-friendly places. Very fast to read, opens quickly, turns pages quickly and is much faster than some expensive models. The dimensions are very cool and fits in the hand like a molded one. It is possible to reflash or Russify, read in any position... Well, the most important plus is its price and operating time, it happened that I did not recharge it for 3 weeks. the reader is American and everything is made for America, for example, buying books for dollars in a store, but you can install a cool reader and read and download everything Russian and the reason goes away. The screen is slightly mirrored if direct light hits it. The case gets tampered with quickly, but the case will help you avoid such little things. ![]() |

Model differences between Kindle 4 and Kindle 5:
Compared to the Kindle 4, the Kindle 5 has several hardware improvements in addition to the colour difference, such as the implementation of new fonts, improved clarity of displayed text, and increased page refresh speed (by 15%). Everything else remained unchanged.

The battery holds up very well; it lasted a month without charging for me.
You can upload photos in zip format.
There's enough memory.
The Wi-Fi here is quite convenient and pretty powerful; my phone only fails to find as many connections as a book (nice bonus plus).
When it's off, it displays previously found ads on the screen, so the screensavers change, but if you want to know more about the found ad-picture, there's also a link to the website; with Wi-Fi, everything is easily found.
