Aquaphor Crystal Standard

The Aquphor Crystal series of flow filters is presented in the image and likeness of a block-modular design, the maintenance of which is reduced to the periodic replacement of the filter elements as an assembly.

The fact is that the design of the model uses maintenance-free cartridges sealed in a non-separable flask. This format has both its pros and cons. The advantages of such solutions are the compact dimensions of the filtering system and a minimum of gestures to replace consumables (especially in the light of the availability of quick-release fasteners for replaceable modules). Only the high cost of these cassettes slightly smooths out the positive impression.

Three step cleaning

During filtration, large mechanical particles are sifted out of the water, then sorption purification is carried out from all kinds of impurities and organic substances, and the K1-07 filter performs final post-treatment and water conditioning. With such data, Aquaphor Crystal Standart "with a bang" is suitable for treating muddy water with inclusions of sand, silt and iron. Almost the same model, but with the ECO prefix in the name, is additionally equipped with a hollow fibre membrane for disinfection.

Potential

The water supply from the spout of the complete filter tap is carried out with a maximum pressure of over 2 L / min. Cartridges need to be changed about once a year or more. Their resource is about 8K liters, but here everything depends on the quality of tap water — the worse it is, the less replaceable cassettes will last. Closer to the development of the claimed resource, some instances of the flow system experience leaks near the module mounts. They occur infrequently, but periodic monitoring for tightness of connections in order to avoid flooding neighbors from below will never be superfluous.
