Overall, it's a good device, but! Even when the G-Sensor is turned off, it still works! It shouldn't be like that! And seriously, who thought it was a good idea to have the screen light up (with a bright white splash screen as the recorder loads) and illuminate the entire interior at night when the G-Sensor is activated? Is that to make it easier for someone to smash the car window and steal the recorder? For now, I've had to make a cover from a piece of leather to block the screen from activating with the G-Sensor at night... Because, I repeat, when it turns on, the white screen lights up the entire interior very noticeably, and the screen can be seen from a considerable distance—easily! (even in a tinted vehicle). Maybe I'm just unlucky, and the issue can be fixed with a firmware update, but I haven't found any information about it anywhere yet. The box has a release date of 2013!! Video quality is average. In the dark, not very ... With good lighting - good. Build quality and the mirror itself is good Inability to disable G-Sensor (see comment)  Oleg: |
