i liked both the price and the quality of both the product itself and the fermented milk products prepared in it. The only thing is that instead of plastic cups you can use glass jars with a baby food lid, they are convenient to boil, store in the refrigerator, and are safer (non-toxic) inexpensive, practical, functional, nice design there is no timer, but this does not spoil its properties. There is a clock at home))) ![]() |
I use the yogurt maker almost every day, sometimes it works nonstop for up to 2 days. I bought it to make yogurts and cottage cheese for my child, but now I use it for the whole family since the result is superb. I've never regretted the purchase. The yogurt maker doesn't have a timer, but now as an experienced user, I can say it's absolutely unnecessary since yogurt has one fermentation time, bifido-acidophilus another, and narine a third. Plus, everything depends on the freshness of the milk, air temperature in the room, etc. In short, each preparation takes a different amount of time, and determining the yogurt's readiness can only be done by looking in the jar, not automatically). The plastic jars are more of a plus than a minus. Drop a glass one on the tiles, and it's gone, with no replacement. These jars can be boiled in the microwave and have fallen many times, but they're still intact! Appearance, small size, plastic jars, the set includes a plastic pot for making cottage cheese and 1.5 liters of product at a time. Haven't noticed yet.))) ![]() |
Doesn't overheat. I measured the temperature of the yogurt after 5 hours of work - 38 degrees - just right for beneficial bacteria. For those who can’t do it right away, look at the air temperature in the kitchen. My yogurt turned out well in the summer and fall, but by winter it stopped. I solved the problem by covering the lid of the yogurt maker with a towel; apparently it was underheated due to the cold in the kitchen. I ferment it from purchased Activia or TEMA yogurt, it’s cheaper than using starter cultures, and I don’t want to bother with shipping them. Inexpensive, compact and simply convenient. no ![]() |
