The model borrowed from its predecessor a pair of powerful 7.5-watt speakers and a rubberized case in the "bar" form factor, on the upper end of which there are 5 speaker control keys (on/off, pairing via Bluetooth, pause playback, decrease and increase the volume). The frequency range of Divoom Voombox-Outdoor (2 Gen) is 100 – 20000 Hz. In additional roles, the model can play audio tracks when connected to audio sources via a line-in (under a plug with the manufacturer's logo) and act as a speakerphone when making voice calls from a wirelessly connected smartphone. The battery life of the model reaches 12 hours.
