I definitely recommend it. Excellent color rendition, but I only use original ink. In 8 years, a week ago, I took it to maintenance for the first time, the diaper was full. Low ink consumption. Capacious diaper. Great print. I used only original inks. I printed photos to many friends, as well as other things... I immediately realized that 10x15 was not an option, so I immediately switched to A4 format. In use for 8 years. Changed diapers after 5380 sheets and 8 years. Didn't reset the counters on principle and used original inks. Decided to give it a try. So here’s the thing: the software requires refilling slightly before the ink runs out. Over 8 years and 5380 pages, the "handicap" has now reached about a third of the reservoir, meaning there's ink, but the device demands a refill (though it's not critical - solvable without external interference; more like a frequent warning). However, there's a noticeable wear on the head and mixing of inks after prolonged (a couple of weeks) idle time - can be fixed by nozzle cleaning and printing. ![]() |
Generally, as practice shows, it's better to choose T50 or R50 for color rendition, and use InkTec or DSTec inks - these are the best inks available at the moment, after the original Claria. However, since the L800 doesn't use Claria inks but some other rubbish, it's better not to use those and instead use time-tested quality inks, whichever one prefers. You can read more about these printers and inks on the forum http://www.resetters.ru and there's a free utility SPUA available for resetting ink codes, so with the right inks, everything will be great and the printer is excellent! Compact and simple Bad ink for photo printing ![]() |
i took a replacement for the failed R295 (the diaper spilled through the top and something shorted somewhere, washing and cleaning did not give anything, so I had to update the equipment) I have a set of inks that came with the printer, unopened (I use other inks when printing) ready to sell with discount excellent printer, factory CISS leaves a very good impression With the highest quality photo printing, the speed is low, but I consider this drawback to be insignificant; print quality is more important ![]() |
