Low drag blades
The advanced model of the Ergo FSM-1698 stand-mounted floor fan is distinguished by the presence of a humidification function, which is not so common in devices of this class. The device is made in black and mounted on a weighted disk stand Ø 40 cm. The telescopic stand allows you to adjust the height of the fan within 1230 – 1530 mm, and the airflow front setting mechanism makes it possible to tilt the blades Ø 40 cm with low aerodynamic resistance at an angle of up to 25 °. The horizontal rotation of the fan head is 90°. An electric motor with copper windings consumes 50 W in ventilation mode, and 30 W in humidification mode. Thus, when both functions are activated at the same time, the motor consumes a total of 80 watts. Room ventilation can be carried out in one of 3 preset modes: normal, natural (wind simulation) and night (sleep). In addition, the device allows you to set one of 3 blowing speeds, which can be combined with any operating mode. And the built-in timer makes it possible to limit the maximum time of continuous operation of the fan to 7 hours.
Function of ultrasonic humidification
The humidification function is implemented by a built-in electronic system of ultrasonic high-frequency grinding of water particles into water mist microparticles. The water for humidification comes from a 1.2-liter removable reservoir, and cold “steam” is sprayed through a special tube that is discharged in front of the blades with a moving air stream. The room humidification capacity is 240 mL/h, which, with the full capacity of the water tank, will be enough for about 5 hours of operation. The spray wand is surrounded by an LED ring light that shows the operating status of the device and makes it easy to find it in the dark. At the back of the dashboard is a humidity controller that can be set to the desired value at your discretion. The device is equipped with a water level sensor that automatically turns off humidification when the tank is empty. And another nice bonus was the addition of the fan with a remote control powered by AAA little finger batteries (not included).
