The German manufacturer Beurer offers a convenient solution for a workplace or bedside table - a table fan. This is a compact device weighing less than 0.5 kg, which takes up little space but is very refreshing. The design of the model contains notes of retro style, and the leather handle makes it easy to carry and transport the fan. However, it is better to do this without a filled bottle, so as not to spill the water. To connect to the network, the “baby” uses a Micro-USB port, just keep in mind that the cable is included in the package, but there is no network adapter. At the same time, the fan can be connected to a computer or laptop - in this case an adapter is not required.

The model combines the functions of a conventional fan and an air humidifier. By the way, this is especially true for people who work at a computer, because their eyes often dry out, which causes pain and discomfort. This is precisely the reason for the rather unusual design of the device: a bottle filled with water is attached to the fan through a special adapter. The principle of operation is simple: a special evaporation filter is wetted with water, and the air flow evaporates this water and thereby increases the humidity in the room. The filter must be changed periodically - its service life is 1000 hours of operation. A special indicator on the housing will notify you about the need to replace the old filter with a new one.

The package includes a regular 250 ml plastic bottle - according to the manufacturer, this is enough for up to 4 hours of moisturizing at maximum power. Conveniently, you can attach any bottle with a standard round neck to the holder, even a larger one to increase autonomy. If desired, it can be removed altogether, leaving only the ventilation function. Also, the device is as easy as possible to use, since it offers only 3 speeds of rotation of the blades and, accordingly, has a minimum of buttons.

The floor fan of the Ukrainian brand Ardesto is a good example of a balanced price-quality ratio: for a low cost you get a multifunctional device that not only cools, but also humidifies the air, ionizes and protects against mosquitoes. Thus, just one device combines the capabilities of a classic fan, air humidifier, ionizer and insect control assistant.

The model uses ultrasonic humidification in combination with high-speed air flow to more effectively keep the room cool and fresh. For this purpose, a 1.5 liter water tank is hidden inside the case. On average, the device consumes about 200 ml of water per hour, that is, one filled tank should be enough for the whole night. The water container is removable, so it can be filled directly from the tap. In addition to the humidification function, the fan has an ionizer : it saturates the air with negatively charged ions, which clean it of viruses, fine dust and unpleasant odors, and also have a positive effect on overall health. The big plus is that both the humidifier and the ionizer can be turned on separately, without operating the fan blades. Due to this, the device will be useful not only in summer, but also at other times of the year.

Another useful addition would be mosquito repellent. This is a special, already filled bottle with repellent, which heats up while the fan is running and protects against insects. The existing liquid lasts for approximately 30 days (with 8-hour daily use), after which you can purchase additional product and refill the bottle yourself.

As for the functions of a traditional fan, everything here is also at a high level. 3 blades with a diameter of 40 cm create a fairly strong (even at minimum speed) air flow that can cool large rooms. There are 3 operating modes to choose from. NORMAL provides manual selection of one of three speeds (low, medium and high). NATURAL mode simulates wind, combining strong and soft currents. And SLEEPING in the first 30 minutes works on the principle of natural wind at different speeds, after which it switches to moderate intensity, comfortable for sleep. In addition, there is a timer from 1 to 9 hours, which turns off the fan after a set time. The selected parameters are displayed on the display, and the equipment can be controlled using the buttons on the body or the remote control included in the package.

The fan itself is quite large and not light, but at the same time it looks nice and is convenient to place. Tanks for water and repellent are hidden inside the body so as not to spoil the design. And the base is a stable stand with wheels, thanks to which you can easily move the structure.

A floor fan with a classic three-blade design is designed to provide a comfortable microclimate in a room or office space. With a power of 75 W, it creates a fairly strong air flow and is able to provide coolness in hot weather. In addition, the model also has a humidification function: during operation, the device releases cool steam, which increases air humidity and provides additional freshness. The humidification function can be turned on separately, that is, without rotating the fan blades. The result is a complete replacement for special air humidifiers. The removable reservoir is easily filled with water and has a volume of 3.2 liters, which is enough for long-term operation of the humidifier without the need for topping up. The tank is located at the bottom of the body, on the base, and thanks to the translucent body, it allows you to accurately control the amount of remaining water.

Another advantage of the model is its fairly flexible settings. There are 3 speed modes for the fan, and 3 separate steam output intensity settings for the humidifier. In addition, NATURE and SLEEP modes are available. The first one automatically changes speeds and stops for a while, simulating the natural flow of wind. SLEEP reduces the speed every 30 minutes, after which it switches to NATURE mode, thereby creating comfortable conditions for sleep. The fan can also automatically rotate, covering a large area, change the direction of movement of the blades and makes it possible to adjust the tilt. Overall, the device is quite powerful, but not too noisy, so you can safely leave it on overnight. Or use the sleep timer - another useful function for a comfortable rest. The timer allows you to program a time of up to 7.5 hours, after which the fan will automatically turn off.

Users will also appreciate the ease of control. To do this, there is a large panel with buttons on the body of the device and a remote control, with which you can adjust parameters and change modes remotely, without getting up from the sofa.

The ProfiCare model is a not too expensive floor fan with all the usual functions, but also with the ability to humidify. To achieve this, the design provides for a spacious water tank installed directly on the round base of the device. Despite the fact that the metal elements make the device quite heavy, the location of the water tank provides even greater stability. It holds up to 3 liters, and with a fairly economical water consumption (from 200 to 300 ml per hour), this volume will last up to 15 hours without the need for refilling. The humidification function works completely independently, that is, it can be turned on and off separately from the fan. This is especially true during the heating season, when the air is dry due to heaters, and there is no need for airflow. In addition, you can adjust the intensity of humidification - a total of 3 speeds are available. The water tank is made of translucent plastic, which makes it possible to control its fullness.

Otherwise, the model works the same as most classic fans. The power is 85 W, providing sufficiently strong airflow for rooms up to 60 - 70 square meters. The design allows you to adjust the height of the stand, the angle of inclination of the blades (and, accordingly, the air flow) or activate the rotary system, when the device independently changes the direction of the air flow within a range of about 60 degrees. A total of 3 airflow speeds are available, as well as 2 modes with preset settings. Night mode gradually reduces speed for a more comfortable sleep, while NATURE mode alternates between different speeds and a complete stop to simulate wind.

For more convenient use, the package includes a remote control, while there is also a regular control panel on the fan body. The auto-shutdown timer will also be useful: it allows you to set a time (from 30 minutes to 7.5 hours), after which the device will turn off on its own.

The Sencor fan is not cheap, but it is an advanced multifunctional model that acts as a kind of analogue to an air conditioner. First of all, it is worth noting that in appearance it differs from traditional fans with a high stand and a cross-shaped or round support. This is a low, but quite large device weighing more than 7 kg. Due to the design features, users do not have the ability to adjust its height and angle of inclination. Despite this, the device is easy to move and transport using wheels and carrying handles.

The fan performs three main functions: creating air flow, humidifying and cooling the air. Moreover, cooling is achieved not only with the help of wind - really cold air comes out. To do this, you need to put a refrigerant cassette in the water tank (the package includes two such cassettes), which has been in the freezer for several hours in advance. The refrigerant absorbs heat and keeps the water cool for several hours. As a last resort, you can put ice in the water tank if you did not have time to cool the cassette in advance. In addition, the fan sprays microdrops of water, humidifying the air in the room. The capacious tank has a volume of 5.5 liters, which means there will be enough water for a long time. The humidification/cooling function will automatically turn off 10 seconds after the water in the tank runs out.

The model offers a choice of 3 operating modes. Normal involves constant operation at one of three speeds. NATURAL combines different speeds and thus imitates a natural breeze. And the SLEEP mode gradually reduces the intensity of the air flow to reduce the risk of colds from drafts and noise levels. An automatic grille rotation function is also available: it slowly rotates clockwise, thereby creating a moving, directed air flow. It looks like the manufacturer added this option to compensate for the lack of a rotating system like conventional fans. All selected parameters are shown on the display.

Despite the large dimensions and non-standard design, the device is convenient to use. Sencor is to be commended for its attention to detail, which makes it much easier to use. This includes a transparent insert on the front side of the case, which allows you to control the water level in the tank, holders for winding up the power cord at the back of the device, and a special place for storing the remote control. In addition, the fan is not too noisy (the noise level is 66 dB), is equipped with a remote control (in addition to the buttons on the case) and allows you to set an auto-shut-off timer from 30 minutes to 7.5 hours.
