The convector hidden in the oil cooler housing is a strange thing, but it works
 22 October 2016
We bought this convector on the advice of a retailer who praised such devices as a new generation of heaters. Good thing you didn't buy it from him. In fact, it turned out to be the same, only without oil and therefore, a little lighter in weight.
Convectors are usually distinguished from oil radiators by much more modest dimensions and lighter weight. In this case, the dimensions are similar to a standard oil heater, but the weight is indeed noticeably less. Like an oil radiator, this convector is equipped with a step power regulator, a temperature regulator, and a thermostat. It heats approximately the same as an oil radiator, but the heat appears much earlier. However, the difference is minimal and can easily fit into the notion of "it seemed." It heats the room it is usually in satisfactorily, with no major complaints. Another noticeable advantage in comparison with oil radiators is the lower body temperature of the convector. It feels like it heats up to 55-60 degrees, no more.
Electric air heaters in a tin box are poorly fixed, so when carried or transported, they rumble in such a way that it becomes scary. Oil coolers are a proven and well-established system over the years. Even inexpensive Chinese oil crafts have been quietly working for 5-7 years, and I can’t say what will happen to this convector in a couple of years. IMHO, the price is too high.
