i will continue to ride it this year, hopefully nothing will happen until the end of the season. i looked at the tires and their price, they turned out to be cheap and decent. I'll pay special attention to driving on wet asphalt: the tires have many grooves, and quite high ones, the water quickly disperses through the grooves, and the car handles wet roads well. It smoothly goes over bumps. I haven't tried it off-road, so I can't say how it performs there. if you take a sharp turn at high speed, it starts to slide due to the height, and the same thing happens when starting from a standstill as it starts to squeal and slip, which didn't happen with other tires. The edges wore out quickly. ![]() |
Re-shod the w124 to size 195/65/15 made in France. Two wheels were balanced excellently - 10-15 grams each, but the guys at the tire service struggled with the remaining ones. From 90 to 120 grams. They spun the tire on the rim, removed the problematic tire from one rim and put it on another... In general, the minimum weight of the weight was not less than 90 grams. A friend came over and said he had a similar issue, drove around 1000 km, and the rebalancing went excellently. So, we decided to do the same. I'll update later on what comes of it. First impressions, very soft and because of that - a comfortable ride. The nuance with balancing is annoying. Because if it turns out to be defective, it's a disaster. use Fulda EcoControl HP week |
I would like to point out the price of these tires. I have a size 195 * 65 and I got them before all the hustle last year for 850 UAH per tire, which in principle is worth the money. i'll start from afar; I have Fulda Kristall Montero 3 winter tires. The tires are not very expensive but still show good performance on snow... So, basically, I decided to stick with this brand since it has proven itself quite well, and I actually bought it last spring. I'll say right away that summer and winter differ greatly, and it's not just about driving in the snow with summer tires, but in terms of comfort. I would classify these tires more as sports tires or something like that. The tires are quite tough, even if you keep the pressure a little lower, they will still be tough. The tread height isn't very large, but after driving 9,000 km in a season, only 15% wore out, no more. Whether this is a lot or not, everyone will decide for themselves. The sidewalls are rigid; even a simple hit on the sidewall feels like it's wooden, which can't be said for other brands. Just stand in the parking lot and check. The pattern is asymmetrical, and the reason for choosing it is supposedly that the inner side is more for off-road, and the outer side is for asphalt. I was guided by the opinion that the outer side is for asphalt because if you push the car hard into a corner, the load goes to the outer side of the tire, the one designed specifically for grip on asphalt. About water, you need to be a bit cautious; even though there are 3 grooves in the center of the tire, since the tread isn't very high and not too soft, there's a risk of aquaplaning in very heavy rain... There are no particular drawbacks; if you're choosing tires, I think you are guided by some principles. Whether you need soft/hard tires and the like... |
