Heat recovery ventilator

Funai Fuji ERW-150 is a heat recovery air handling unit designed to serve premises up to 75 square metres. Inside it is a plate heat exchanger. The air from the room, which is “thrown out” to the street, passes through the heat exchanger and gives it part of its thermal energy. This heat is used to heat fresh air, which is drawn in from outside and brought into the room. This design allows you to ventilate your home or office, almost without cooling it. And in the heat it works completely the opposite — the air supplied to the room turns out to be cooler than the "outboard".

Ventilates, purifies the air and kills germs

The device has several modes of operation that can be changed using the remote control. Depending on the settings, the device can be engaged in normal ventilation or recirculation. The recirculation mode consists in mixing internal air with external air in order to smooth out the temperature difference between them (useful at temperatures below 10 °C). The unit can be controlled manually (it has 9 speeds providing performance from 30 m³/h to 150 m³/h) or automatically. In "intelligent" mode, the electronics measures the concentration of volatile organic substances using the built-in VOC sensor and adjusts the performance of the heat exchanger, keeping the readings within normal limits. Regardless of the mode of operation, the air entering the room is thoroughly cleaned. For this, the answer is a mesh filter element that removes coarse mechanical impurities, and an ultra-fine filter of class H12, which traps the smallest dust particles. Pathogenic microflora, the size of which is less than 0.1 µm, can be "slammed" by turning on the air ionization function.

Although the Funai air conditioning equipment comes from Japan, it is well adapted to our climatic conditions. In particular, the Funai Fuji ERW-150 works great and performs all its functions 100% at ambient temperatures down to minus 20 degrees. Therefore, it suits almost everyone who lives south of the Arctic Circle. It is interesting to note that this device, unlike many analogues, can be mounted to the wall in any position: even vertically, even horizontally. This feature gives more freedom when choosing a place for installing a ventilation unit in a house or apartment.
