Two speed modes

The wall-mounted air handling unit manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric is capable of providing efficient air exchange in rooms up to 40 m² in size, since its maximum capacity reaches 100 m³/h. At maximum fan speed, electricity consumption is slightly higher than most household counterparts (30 watts per hour)

Mitsubishi Electric VL-100EU5-E also supports low speed with 55 m³/h capacity and reduced power consumption (13 W).

Branded heat exchanger

The model features a patented Lossnay plate heat exchanger. It is made of cellulose, so it is not afraid of icing, it prevents not only heat loss, but also moisture. Its efficiency can reach 80%, so in winter (the recommended minimum temperature for using the device is -10 °C), the fresh air coming from the street will be approximately 4 – 6 °C colder than room temperature.

By default, Mitsubishi Electric VL-100EU5-E operates in recuperation mode. To make the unit function only for ventilation, you can get a heat exchanger. It is also recommended to remove it and the provided filter for periodic cleaning. The instrument does not require any other maintenance.

For any wall

The recuperator is mounted on the wall. For its operation, two holes with a diameter of 85 – 90 mm are needed with a slope to the street. Installation of the model is possible even in a very thin wall from 5 cm (this is typical, for example, for country houses). For analogues, the overlap would have to be increased here. The maximum thickness of the wall, for which all the necessary accessories are included in the package, is 55 cm. For thicker ones, a special 30 cm extension is available.

It should be noted that the model is not equipped with a switch and a speed switch, so they must be purchased separately.
