don’t be afraid of the plastic coupling, good plastic is better than crappy metal. It’s strangled by the narrowed bypass hole, you just need to drill it out to 3-3.2mm. and go ahead! it’s a very nice thing, pleasant to the hands and eyes. Made quite well.
