Очень удобная конструкция - не требуется все время подкачивать воздух в баллон для использования раствора, форма трубки опрыскивателя действительно позволяет легко и качественно опрыскивать растения (например, очень удобно опрыскивать нижнюю сторону листьев и центральную часть деревьев и кустов как наверху, так и снизу), отличная регулировка степени распыления струи раствора. Переносить во время процесса обработки на плече очень удобно. Хорошо работает фильтр даже при попадании довольно крупных частиц мусора с водой - регулятор степени распыления при этом никогда не забивается. Not the most expensive sprayer from a prestigious brand
The tank of the 5-liter Gardena sprayer is made of high-quality plastic: durable and resistant to frost. It has a “signature” blue colour, but there is a transparent “window” along the entire height of the container, which serves as a measuring scale — the liquid level is clearly visible through it. The sprayer has a wide mouth (it is convenient to fill in water or solution), which can be removed (it is easy to wash the inside of the tank after work). A hand pump with a metal rod is screwed into the neck, with which you can create a pressure of up to 3 bar (if the specified value is exceeded, a valve will open through which excess air is vented). With all these advantages, the tank also has a drawback: due to the specific shape of the lower part, it does not stand very stable on uneven surfaces.
Details and nuances
The design of the sprayer allows you to control the speed and shape of the jet. Thanks to the large start key, it is convenient to dose the pressure, and by turning the cap on the rod head, you can change the way the liquid is sprayed: from a hard and strong jet to a water suspension. The button can be locked in the depressed position for continuous watering. The nozzle, by the way, is made of plastic (many other manufacturers make them from metal), so after a few seasons of active use of the sprayer, it can become loose. However, a replacement nozzle costs literally a penny (about $4).
The parts of the apparatus fit well, and the quality of the sealing rings is not satisfactory. But there is one feature that is worth considering before buying. It lies in the fact that this sprayer is designed to work with fully diluted solutions. If the chemistry has not dissolved in the water, and a precipitate has formed, then it will clog the filter (which is located at the base of the rod) or the nozzle — you will have to disassemble the “fishing rod” and clean everything.
Sprayer for beds and bushes
There are reinforcing threads inside the hose, so it is flexible but not brittle. The length of the hose is sufficient — 175 cm (when the device hangs on the shoulder, you can fully raise your arm). But the metal "rod" is a bit short. Therefore, this device is better suited for spraying bushes and beds than for tree care. However, the catalog of accessories for Gardena sprayers helps to solve this problem. In it you can find both an extension to the "fishing rod" (article 897), and a bell to the sprayer (article 894), which helps not to accidentally spray plants that are not supposed to be treated with chemicals.
