For this money, just gorgeous! This dashcam is just out of this world for its price, especially for those who know how to use and configure such devices—it’s like getting a mega bonus for your car. The most convenient feature for me is the setup through the Gazer Viewer app; I have an iPhone. The best part is that you can set up a virtual storage system. When you get home and connect it to Wi-Fi (you only need to do this once), it uploads everything to the app by the day, so you don’t have to transfer anything manually. I think that's simply genius—no need for swapping out memory cards. It also allows you to set the proximity alert to the car in front, letting you configure the distance at which it will alert you. This is an option that’s quite rare even in cars, but here it is in the dashcam. The same goes for the lane departure warning sensor, but it’s a bit sensitive, reacting to every line, so I don’t use it. But who knows, it might be useful for someone else, although not entirely convenient for me. Other than that, there’s nothing too special; it works like a dashcam. The image quality is amazing, and night recordings are on point too. It's handy that the recordings include coordinates and speed—not every device has this feature. Usually, you need to dig through folders to understand the context of recordings, but here, everything is visible on the screen, simplifying searches and rewinds. The built-in GPS model functions as a car locator on the map if your car has internet. I’ve got a little modem in the glove box, so I can track the car remotely. everything is perfect ![]() |
Safe movement
Another very useful feature of ADAS allows you to warn the driver with an audible signal about the danger of a collision with a vehicle in front (FCWS) and about crossing the lane (LDWS). In the mobile application, it is possible to adjust both the sensitivity of the functions and the speed at which the assistants start working. At the same time, all recordings of the video recorder can be stored in Gazer's proprietary cloud storage. Before uploading, the registrar owner can edit the video, add music, filters or enter text. But that's not all - the Speedcam option warns of the presence of nearby road POIs, these include radars or cameras, dangerous places for turning, such sections of the road that require increased attention.
High-quality filming
The registrar provides excellent quality of filming. The model records in Full HD resolution (1920x1080) with a wide viewing angle of 170°. This is more than enough to fully cover the roadway in the frame. The use of high-quality glass optics with a six-layer coated objective lens and a large aperture made it possible to achieve maximum clarity and image detail even in low light conditions.
Two in one
The device supports the connection of a second remote camera. Thus, this is a dual-channel DVR, with a FullHD main camera and support for an external HD camera. Recording from the second camera is carried out in HD 1080x720 resolution at 25 frames per second. As a result, you can get the main DVR, a record of what is happening in the cabin or a reversing camera.
Mini service station
The recorder supports the connection of an optional OBD II module with an ACG-OBD GPS antenna. This means that the gadget records all the movements of the car for each individual route: location coordinates and distance traveled, current and average speed, fuel consumption and travel time. Having access to all vehicle data through the OBD II diagnostic connector, the owner of the registrar receives information about any malfunctions and system errors. Moreover, this is displayed not only on the registrar's screen, but also through a smartphone using a special application. The proprietary software also displays information on most of the main parameters, from on-board voltage and coolant temperature to fuel rail pressure, temperature and engine load, etc. Also, using the OBD II module, the device can be turned into a projector. In this case, all the above parameters of the car will be displayed directly on the windscreen of the car, providing the most complete information about the vehicle while driving.
This is already a multifunctional device, and not just a registrar. It is quite capable of increasing traffic safety by an order of magnitude. Although its cost can hardly be called affordable.
