We recently moved to the countryside, and the settlement where our house is located is not connected to the gas supply. A solid fuel boiler solves the issue of heating and hot water, and the previous owners cooked on an electric cooktop. The problem was that there was no oven in the house at the time we moved in. Without modesty, I will say that I am very good at baking. My mother, who does this professionally, taught me, so I had an excellent teacher. My husband and sons have gotten used to being treated to fresh homemade pies, cookies, and pastries, so we bought and installed an electric oven in the first month after moving. We could only allocate a small budget for this, so we chose this inexpensive Belarusian oven "Gefest." I used to bake in a gas oven and even on a good stove, I tell you, this is not an easy process. It turned out that the electric oven in this sense is much more convenient. Unlike gas, which always heats from below, this model has two groups of heaters: upper and lower. Their joint work makes the process of baking dough much more uniform and faster. Relatively thick sections are baked better, the overall uniformity of heating is higher, and the likelihood of burning is less. As a result, I get an even better result with minimal time. For cooking meat and poultry, he eats a grill and an electric skewer. I haven't tried them yet, so I can't rate them. As for the cleaning and cleaning of the oven, which is so unloved by me, like all women, a special easy-to-clean enamel is used here and it really works. There is no forced convection, which at this price is not surprising. Small overall volume of the oven. |
