The hob of the Belarusian manufacturer Gefest received a glass panel on which four gas burners are located. The gas-on-glass model looks spectacular in any kitchen interior, and its smooth surfaces add ease of care.
Gefest PVG 2232-01 is made in black, but the K12 version in snow-white colour is also on the market.
Burners for every task
The hob has four heating zones. At the rear there are two standard size burners with a power of 1.75 W, and in front there is one economical burner (right) and one turbo burner with a two-zone burner (left), respectively 1 kW and 3.2 kW. The latter contributes to the rapid heating and/or cooking of large portions of food.
The general variability of standard sizes of heating elements allows to economically and effectively operate the device with dishes of different diameters. To accommodate the latter, two cast-iron grates and a special overlay for the Turk are included.
Practical control panel
Four rotary switches act as controls for the Gefest PVG 2232-01. They are located in front of the panel on the right side of it. As with most modern analogues, the switches have a fixed position of a small flame, which eliminates the possibility of accidentally turning off when necessary to reduce the fire to a minimum.
Electric ignition is also implemented in each handle and gas control to ensure protection against gas leakage.
In the reviews, some owners note that during the operation of several burners, the countertop near the surface can noticeably heat up. Anyway, Gefest PVG 2232-01 is not by chance popular among buyers. It attracts with a good price-quality ratio, due to which it competes on equal terms with the equipment of famous brands.
