Let's start with the fact that I bought the motherboard this fall, for use with a 5800x in overclocking. Yes, I thought that the highest chipset was a guarantee of everything in the world... In the end, THIS board became that very chewing gum on which everything barely held together. Let me explain: In the build, 2 sticks with 16 GB each were taken in XMP at 4000, which only started with some struggle at a frequency of 3600. Everything would have been tolerable if THE BOARD HADN'T BURNT ON A JANUARY MORNING in 2022... Literally, on the morning of 01/09/2022, when I pressed the power button something popped and "a blue wave spread." Burn marks on the inner part of the textolite with the smell of grandma’s soup. I'm attaching photos. I'm not going to search for the reason, as the board on the top chipset turned out to be trash, and I got the B550 AORUS PRO V2, which is better in every respect, even in reliability. Advantages compared to the younger representative on the B550 chipset AORUS PRO V2? There are none. There are significantly more ports on the PRO V2, and connecting fans has become a joy, unlike the 4-pin on the "ELITE 570". The design is the same. There's a cooler on the hub, which is great, thank you. The audio is also worse than in PRO V2. The board itself is OLDER than on the B550. In short, this is just an overpayment for the mammoth. Well, hello here we are. There are few ports for connecting case valves, only 4, be careful. The sound card is good, but in comparison with the described younger brother it is WORSE. Of the critical shortcomings, that's all... Everything else is a comparison of the quality of workmanship with its younger chipset neighbor, in which this board is inferior to literally EVERYTHING. I put a lot of thought into choosing a board. I was looking for one with better power delivery, PCIe-4, good sound, and support for really decent gaming processors. Right now, it's hard to find GPUs like the 1650 at a reasonable price, so I went for the Ryzen 7 4750G with integrated graphics and I have no regrets. By the way, it’s the best processor supported by this board. I'm always choosing based on the price/quality ratio. PCIe4 Power is split from 6 to 12 +2, if you know what I mean. This is a quality boost for overclocking. PCIe-4 does not work with my processor, according to the manufacturer, I haven’t tested it. but now it's not so important. use Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE less than month |

Gigabyte motherboards with the Pro index, which have recently come to our tests, have always looked like strong workhorses. They showed themselves perfectly in the "price — quality" coordinate system, attracting both economical gamers and overclocking fans. So the heroine of today's review, the GIGABYTE X570 AORUS PRO model, fits into the designated category.
Hassle-free accommodation
Since we are talking about the ATX form factor, the manufacturer can place up to seven expansion slots on the board. Here we have 5 pcs of PCI Express and a couple of reinforced M.2 required to install SSDs. The built-in sound card with a pumped version of the Realtek ALC1220 codec and an optical output is responsible for the sound. PEG ports, as well as DIMM connectors, are reinforced. The ports also have additional fixation and an increased number of solder points on the PCB. Separately, I would like to praise the successful placement of elements on the board. First, the main PEG port is noticeably far from the processor socket. As a result, the X570 AORUS PRO will allow you to install any, even the largest air cooler. We can also install RAM modules without any problems without removing the graphics card.
No weak points
In our tests, the X570 AORUS PRO turned out to be an extremely stable little one that will work just fine with both 8-core Ryzen chips and the 12-core Ryzen 9 3900X. That is, it is quite a candidate for the role of the brain in a performant gaming PC. Considering all this, the price of $300 could be called biting, but there is nothing surprising in this: we are unlikely to see cheap motherboards based on the X570 in the near future. Still, we are dealing with an advanced chipset for the AM4 platform.
