    generally accepted standard

    Lexar DDR4 is one of the most affordable 3200MHz DDR4 DIMMs available. Fully complies with the generally accepted JEDEC standard: the timing formula is CL22-22-22-52. This is slightly higher than memory with a similar frequency, but factory overclocked XMP. But the supply voltage is lower - 1.2 volts instead of 1.35.

    Minimum heating

    Due to the low voltage, the memory heats up very little and does not need metal heatsinks. And the CL22 timings ensure that the memory will run on almost any motherboard. It is this frequency that is recommended for the latest Intel Core 12000 and AMD Ryzen 5000 processors.

    Overclocking potential

    If you wish, you can experiment with overclocking, since Lexar DDR4 has a good overclocking potential. There are two options here: leave the frequency at 3200 MHz and lower the timings to CL16-18-18-36, which is more useful for CPU cores. While the built-in graphics accelerator, on the contrary, will appreciate the increase in frequency up to 3600 MHz. Of course, it is better to buy two RAM modules at once - 2x8 GB.
