Multi-format on organic light-emitting diodes
Panasonic's member of the OLED family is positioned as a versatile Multi HDR TV. Its feature is the support of all "running" industry standards for extended dynamic range. In addition to HLG and HDR10, there is HDR10+ promoted by Samsung and Dolby Vision used by LG and Sony. As a result, the original format of HDR content for the Panasonic TX-65GZR1000 does not matter.
The 65-inch 4K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate has all the traditional advantages of OLED panels. Thus, infinite contrast guarantees accurate, uniform and natural colour reproduction, especially in dark scenes. If the viewer is not directly in front of the screen, then good viewing angles eliminate strong losses in image quality. The set is complemented by high brightness, reaching peak values of 1000 cd / m2 according to the passport: it will retain the richness and saturation of the picture even in a well-lit room.
Acoustics with Dolby Atmos
The TV supports Dolby Atmos multi-channel sound technology, with the ability to install speakers even in the ceiling in order to create the most surround sound. At the same time, the acoustic system itself is represented by four speakers (two 15-watt and two 10-watt). The potential of the built-in acoustics will satisfy the needs of most users, and audiophiles can choose an additional subwoofer or other audio system.
Branded platform
The proprietary development of My Home Screen 4.0 is used as a "smart" platform. It is still inferior in functionality to its main competitors, but it has a clear and understandable structure, works smoothly and quickly, which is facilitated by the HCX Pro processor.
Other features include the presence of a multimedia remote control with a voice assistant, an HDMI 2.1 connector and two CI slots at once.
The Panasonic TX-65GZR1000 is a high-end OLED TV that is notable for its omnivorous HDR performance. In this aspect only Philips 65OLED854 can compete with it. But the latter is not so widely represented in retail. And we must take into account that both models have a high price tag even by the standards of OLED solutions.
