This is no longer some rootless Chinese nonsense, this is a real ATV for a school-age child. The first thing that catches your eye is the metal frame. Metal allows much greater loads than plastic, which means you can drive over bumps faster, and you won’t have to be afraid of either the driver or the ATV. He can really drive off-road. Large and wide thirteen-inch inflatable wheels give excellent grip and soften small bumps. Larger bumps and potholes are extinguished by real shock absorbers. On a good surface, it accelerates to a speed of 12 km / h, that is, about 3 meters per second. This corresponds to a fast run and is relatively safe. Stops the ATV with the rear disc brakes and does it pretty quickly. However, we bought a helmet and put it on without fail - there can be no rides without it. The ATV is equipped with two electric motors, with a total electric power of 350 watts, and is powered by two 12V batteries, which gives a total of 24 volts. The motors are electronically controlled, stop in braking mode and shut down when overloaded. High power is good, but if it also had capacious batteries, it would be great. But in this model, the manufacturer was greedy. Batteries last a maximum of 35-40 minutes. In principle, this is not so little for an active walk, but you still won’t go far. Charging the battery is a lengthy procedure and takes at least 12 hours. To be honest, I expected more autonomy from a $800 ATV. |
