A store selling clothes, including outerwear, cannot do without such a steamer. I bought it last year. So he will turn one year old in May. The device is not perfect, it has some serious shortcomings, but it is definitely worth the money they ask for it. It’s worth starting with the fact that such a steamer is the easiest and fastest way to return things to their sane appearance after dense transport packaging. It works best on medium-weight textiles. It can also work with thin fabrics, but only an iron can give a really cool result on them. On thick fabrics and outerwear it takes more time and it all depends on the nature of the folds or creases. Most often, everything works out and turns out well, but sometimes it’s difficult to do without the same ironing. By type of fabric everything is simple. The best effect comes out on linen; it straightens out immediately and levels out very quickly. With cotton you have to tinker a little longer, but, as a rule, the effect is also 100%. Viscose is also susceptible to steam. With mixed semi-synthetic fabrics, a lot depends on the composition and texture. The steamer itself is compact and convenient. The barbell with hangers folds up and takes up minimal space in the utility room. Steam consumption is adjustable, so you can soar at maximum. One and a half liters of water is enough for at least 50-60 minutes of hard work. The hangers on the bar sometimes fold spontaneously. The electric cable is a bit short, so you can't stand far from the outlet or you'll need an extension cord. Sometimes it makes a loud "grunt," but it doesn't spit water. I tried steaming suspended curtains at home and wasn't impressed. Maybe it's the fabric (by the way, even an iron without steam doesn't press it well), or maybe I lacked patience. Overall, there is an effect, but it's too weak. |
