SteelSeries FreeMove Technology
SteelSeries FreeMove gives the user the option to remove mouse interpolation. This means that normal mouse settings "help" you move in a straight line, but this so-called "help" makes you lose precision. When FreeMove is enabled, the mouse will move on the screen exactly as you move it on the surface.
SteelSeries ExactSens Technology
SteelSeries ExactSens lets you control how fast your pointer should move across CPI setting in steps of 1 between 100-5001. This means that the SteelSeries Xai offers you true hardware sensitivity settings, freeing you from the interpolation of gaming software. In order to use ExactSens you need to deactivate any cursor accelerations and set the sensitivity settings in the game (sensitivity 1 or adjust the sensitivity slider to the lowest value) and to your operating system default. You can use the CPI Calculator to find a value that resembles the cursor speed you are used to, which gives a good starting point for tuning your sensitivity to perfection.
