Better than 261, it seems to have a filter similar to the 660 and a 3/8 headset. Good power/weight ratio. For the price, they could have come up with a better air filter. It clogs quickly, is difficult to clean, and there's also a carburetor valve built in. The headset would be better at 3/8. Overall, the saw is very good, but the filterRRRR spoils everything. I've been using this saw for about 6-7 years, it's reliable. I'm involved in wooden house construction, so I have to saw almost every day, all day long. I've changed the bar twice, the spark plug, and the rear amortizer, chains not included. I clean the air filter regularly and periodically clean the whole saw. Before this, I had other saws like Husqvarna, which broke down after a year. As reliable as an iron bridge, with proper maintenance. Few places have spare parts in stock. use STIHL MS 260 38 month or more i recommend it should buy |
i’ve been working for about 15 years. I cut about 50 machine meters per season. I had a partner in Varna. There were a bunch of Chinese ones. They were 180 and two 230. The best is 260. It’s distinguished by long-lasting reliability. Starts up under any conditions. Speed plus weight. Glory to Ukraine. one of the best in the world, as reliable as a Kalashnikov assault rifle. careful attitude not to overheat, plus real oil and the 260 is indestructible. expensive spare parts, especially oil. An air filter would be simpler. It’s hard to get a carburetor repair kit. i recommend it should buy |
