Boiled it three times after purchase, specifically to check for leaks. I filled it up to 1.5 liters instead of the full 1.7 liters to check faster. Before boiling, there was a faint smell inside the kettle, but it completely disappeared afterward. The first time 1.5 liters boiled in 6.5 minutes, and the second time in 6 minutes. It's worth noting that tap water is cold in November, so it might boil quicker in summer. Found no leaks, it boils without extra noise, the handle doesn't heat up, but it might be a bit heavy for women. The spout pours accurately into a cup, but when lifting the kettle after pouring, drops may spill on the table (though that’s minor, you just need to get used to it). This model's stainless steel filter and the rubber gasket around the lid—preventing steam from escaping during boiling—are pleasing features. Purchased for 3699. The lid is fixed after opening and does not fall down; the gasket in the lid prevents steam from passing through the gaps in the lid, thus protecting your hand from burns.
