i have a Yamaha PianoCraft E400, connected all the outputs from the system to the subwoofer, including the system one! The subwoofer was brought from Germany! The volume on the subwoofer is adjusted through the system (I increase or decrease the volume without manually adjusting the subwoofer, directly only on the receiver, and the volume increases on the subwoofer). I was honestly shocked, as I read reviews that no one else had it adjustable, but when they brought it, I connected everything, and it worked, so I didn't need to get up from my seat! So try connecting the system output 3.5 jack jack mono-channel, it should all work! Regarding the fact that the sub doesn't turn off, listen carefully when you turn off the receiver or, in my case, you can hear a click in the sub indicating it went to sleep mode even though the indicator is still on! Good luck to everyone! I recommend the sub!!!))))))))))) I'll make a video and share the link here later! On all Yamahas, there is a slot in the back for powering other Yamaha devices! That's where you plug in the power cord for the Yamaha YST-FSW150 subwoofer, and voilà, it turns on and off by itself! Though not all receivers have this, for example, on the Yamaha RX-V461, Yamaha RX-V396, Yamaha RX-V457! In newer models, it's no longer available! Compact size, great design, great sound for its size no use Yamaha YST-FSW150 month or more |
