Naturally, the "entry level" was taken adjusted for the high standards of the company, so in fact it turned out to be a very strong and almost silent power supply with a power reserve of 600 W, a high efficiency of 92% (corresponds to the 80+ Gold class) and a price tag of around $100 .
Quieter than water
The filling of the block is traditionally based on the famous FSP, the circuitry is not as cool as in the top models of the company, but much better than in other entry-level models. To make the unit cheaper, the cables for the motherboard were made non-detachable, so this option may not be suitable for owners of modding cases with transparent walls. The main difference from the previous Pure Power 10 line lies in the increase in the efficiency of the 11th generation from 80+ Silver to 80+ Gold. In the new products, various optimizations of passive and active components were carried out, including the addition of radiators. The filter capacitors in the ATX cable have been removed. At the end, this gave greater efficiency, less heat generation, reduced dimensions and slightly reduced noise levels. When operating at 75% power, the acoustic noise level is about 10 – 15 dB, and at maximum load and elevated operating temperatures it never exceeded 30 dB. That is, either silently, or very quietly.
