I consider it a big advantage that the Bernina Milan-5 is heavy, weighing 9kg. When sewing heavy fabrics or stitching large pieces, the machine stays on the table as if glued, not shifting anywhere, unlike machines weighing 4-5 kg. And, please, be careful with the threader for the first day or two. First, understand how it works, and then follow the instructions exactly and there will be no problems. The threader has a very thin hook, which, when the needle is at its highest position, fits perfectly into the eye of the needle, allowing you to thread easily. If the needle is not raised high enough, the hook will hit the needle's shaft and may break, which is not covered by warranty! Easy to use, good clear instructions. I really appreciated the tab with tips - you don’t have to look at the instructions every time you switch to a seam that you haven’t sewed for a long time - I pulled out the tab and everything is clear.
