Mechanics

The piano has 88 weighted keys equipped with a hammer action, which allows you to feel the natural feedback and perform any nuance. It also provides a setting of the sensitivity of the keys (3 types) with a disable function. Despite a decent stabilization system, the keys emit a characteristic tapping sound when pressed and released (especially noticeable on staccato). Even if you plan to play music with headphones, every rhythmic pattern will be heard by others.

Connoisseurs of concert sound will like the Hall Effect button, pressing which will add acoustics to the instrument. The feature is unique in that it is emulated using hardware-acoustic modeling rather than digital conversion as with models in this class. Here the high-frequency range of the string group is also significantly extended.

The Casio CDP-230R digital piano features 200 built-in auto accompaniment styles and the ability to create ten of your own. There are also 700 built-in timbres. They will help to supplement the music library of 152 pre-installed songs with ten personally created melodies.

For novice musicians, a useful option will be the built-in learning system, which consists of four stages: “Listen”, “Watch”, “Remember”, “Auto”. There is also a function of learning the composition in separate batches. Thanks to the simple recorder, you can save your improvisations in MIDI format to an SD memory card.

The package includes an adapter, a convenient music stand, a music book and a semi-damper pedal SP-3. To simulate a piano pedal, you can connect the SP-20.
