This model is the entry-level in the PX-G 2023 series, with a power output of 850 W, and is positioned as a near-top-tier power source for gaming PCs and workstations equipped with powerful graphics accelerators, including top-tier NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series GPUs.
A key distinguishing feature of this model is its support for the ATX 3.0 power standard and the inclusion of a graphics card power cable with a 12VHPWR connector. Additionally, the Deepcool PX850G stands out due to its advanced circuitry, with power supplied through the use of full-fledged Japanese capacitors rated at 105°C, and a dual main capacitor topology that, according to the manufacturer, can support a hold-up time of up to ≥ 16 ms at 100% load.
The PSU is certified according to the 80 Plus Gold standard, providing an efficiency of around 90% under typical load conditions. Furthermore, the model features a built-in controller for semi-passive cooling, which turns off the fan under low load conditions. When performing more resource-intensive tasks (gaming, rendering, compiling, etc.), the PC's power consumption increases, and the system activates active cooling, automatically adjusting fan speeds to balance optimal noise levels and component heating. Reliability, stability, and power safety are guaranteed by a wide and diverse set of protections (OVP, SCP, OPP, OTP, OCP, and UVP), as well as an official 10-year warranty from the manufacturer.

It seems like a good model, it has everything you might wish for, but my particular unit squealed under light load, especially when I'm working and need silence, which completely negates any of its advantages. Moreover, the sound constantly appears and disappears, and since it's quite high-pitched, it's very noticeable even against the background of my not-so-quiet case. Those sensitive to such things and who've encountered it will understand that sitting without headphones is just impossible. I know this can happen in any model and it depends more on the unit, but there is a trend that with some manufacturers the problem is more pronounced than with others, so keep that in mind. The store initially offered to send it for diagnostics, but that's a dubious prospect. Luckily, they just agreed to refund me (thank you, Elmir). And keep in mind, the block is fully painted, even the threads inside. Once you screw it into your case, it will scratch the paint, which could be a reason to refuse a return. - The cooling system operates very quietly (I only heard something if I brought the block close to my ear). It might be louder under high loads, but in that case, I think it won't be quiet overall. - 16 pin, even if you don't need it now, the block is usually purchased for a fairly long term, you'll most likely upgrade other hardware in time and it might be needed. - There are no professional tests yet, but the ones available show that the block seems to follow a quite successful predecessor model and is well-equipped. - Squeak at the hour of work  Dima P: use Deepcool PX850G less than month |
I bought it recently, and out of the box it makes either a squeak or a whistle WITHOUT load. It’s not very intrusive, it’s not critical for me, but for that kind of money there shouldn’t be such nonsense in the block. Apparently it's a complete lottery. It did not fit into my case properly; the thread of the block did not quite match the hole in the case (Deepcool matrex 55 MESH). I took it for an upgrade, so at the moment I can’t say anything about the noise level under good load. I am writing this review in order to warn a potential buyer about the existing problem with squeaking, because we don’t write much about such a problem. The same can be said about other colors, because they are unlikely to have any differences. - Pleasant appearance - Number of ports for connection and port for 40 series RTX - Good product package and nice box. - Beep from the box. - You must check before purchasing.
