The Chinese company DJI is actively expanding the range of drones produced in order to satisfy the whims of the widest range of fans. So, in the midst of the autumn season of 2019, under the sign of the brand, a tiny DJI Mavic Mini quadcopter soared into the sky.
Miniaturization in action
The new model looks like a baby even in comparison with the miniature DJI Mavic Air. The dimensions of the drone with folded propellers are only 140x82x57 mm and its weight is 249 g.
Solid hardware
Fortunately, the ultra-compact dimensions of the copter did not become a stumbling block in terms of the level of functional "charge" of the model. The drone is armed with a camera on a three-axis stabilization gimbal, which captures video in 2.7K (2720x1530 pixels, up to 30 fps) and FullHD (1920x1080 pixels, up to 60 fps) resolutions. The duration of the flight of a quadcopter on a single battery charge is about half an hour, and the range of finishing off a signal from it reaches 4 km at a frequency of 5 GHz.

Drone flying and shooting from the air is made easy with the DJI Fly mobile companion app. It is in it that four automatic fast shooting modes are provided : Dronie (takeoff back and up with camera fixation on the object), Rocket (smooth climb with aiming at the target), Circle (circling around the object at a given height along a stable radius) and Helix (takeoff along spirals with keeping the target in the frame). Also, the drone has the function of returning to the starting point when the connection with the remote control is lost and the batteries are low.
