I bought this for a country house, specifically to prevent communications from freezing in the winter. I didn’t choose it myself, I bought this model thanks to the advice of knowledgeable people. The advice turned out to be quite sensible, because now it is absolutely impossible to buy something more decent for that kind of money. It perfectly copes with the role of a heater for one room (for short overnight visits and lighting the stove) and a duty heater, which constantly works in frosty weather and heats up the kitchen, where the appropriate water communications are laid. The peculiarity of its thermostat is that at a temperature of +5 or below, it automatically turns on the heating element and does not allow the temperature to drop noticeably lower. Of course, it operates in reduced power mode, which is activated by the corresponding switch. In normal mode, with a maximum two-kilowatt heating output, it warms very quickly. A room with an area of about 14 square meters warms up in an hour - an hour and fifteen. The thermostat can be used to adjust the desired temperature. The kit includes hardware for wall mounting and legs for an alternative option. The convector itself is nice, it looks discreet, but modern. Short one-year warranty for the convector. In general, convectors are famous for their quiet operation, but not in my case. Each switching on and off is accompanied by a quiet but clearly audible click of the relay. I sleep lightly and these constant clicks make it very difficult to fall asleep normally. In my opinion, the lower part of the case gets too hot. |
