At first I wanted to buy a two-kilowatt oil cooler for home, but the budget was only enough for extremely cheap models. I didn’t want to take frank nonsense, so I decided to choose something from inexpensive convectors. This model is ideal for money and thermal parameters. Unlike oil heaters, this convector instantly heats up itself and quickly warms up the room. In terms of power, it corresponds to the declared indicators, it really gives a lot of heat, at least it is enough for an 18 meter room. Hot air rises from the grate in a wave and sometimes there is a desire to use the convector as a dryer. Do not do this in any case, it can overheat itself and fry the fabric. I think that if all the holes are closed with a cloth, then the matter may well reach a fire. When full power is not needed, then using two toggle switches on the side of the case, it can be limited to 750 and 1250 watts. Next to the toggle switches there is a thermostat knob, it does not have a temperature scale, but you can adapt. There is a two year warranty. Open tubular electric heater and complete lack of protection against water ingress. Dust gets on the spiral and there is not the most pleasant smell. The fastening of the legs is weak, you need to carry it only by lifting it by the handles. The handles on the case are decently heated, even though they are plastic. The case also warms up be healthy. The electric cable with plug could be longer. |
