I don't quite understand the craze for high-resolution DVRs. FullHD with 1920 by 1080 pixels is great, but truly high-quality images with such a high resolution can only be produced by devices with a price tag of around $100. But no, drivers fall for cheap Chinese crafts, which the coveted 1080p can only be created by interpolation, that is, by stretching the popular VGA resolution (640 by 480) onto a globe of the required size. I bought myself a recorder for which 640 by 480 is the native and maximum “fair” resolution. Simple and effective design. Doesn't take up much space under the windshield. The screen is rotatable and quite large - 2.5 inches. Simple, clear and well translated menu. Good recording quality, I'm happy with it. Good equipment (recorder, suction cup bracket, Velcro, cigarette lighter charging, miniUSB-USB cable) which already includes a 4 GB memory card. At first glance, this is not enough, but since the recorder records VGA video, this is enough for almost an hour and a half of continuous recording. HD resolution is understandably smaller, but why do I need the interpolation result if the original takes up less space and is of better quality? When quickly alternating presses on the control buttons, the DVR froze several times. Moreover, it froze so much that I had to turn off the power and even take out the battery. I looked through the forums and it turned out that this is a proprietary bug feature of this model and there is a warning about it in the instructions. According to what is written there, pauses between button presses should be at least 0.5 seconds. Live forever - read the user manual)) |
